Key functions
- Conduct national geological mapping and generate geoscientific information.
- Maintain and manage the national geological and mineral resource database.
- Provide technical and advisory services on geology, exploration and mineral potential.
- Monitor exploration activities and ensure compliance with geological reporting standards.
- Facilitate analysis and export permits for geological samples.
- Administer mining titles and licensing processes at Head Office.
