Mandate
To manage the Ministry’s ICT infrastructure and lead the digitalisation of its operating systems.
Key functions
- Manage ICT infrastructure, systems security and network services for the Ministry.
- Provide ICT support to all departments and provincial offices.
- Implement and monitor digital systems, including e-Government platforms.
- Review and enforce ICT policies and standards.
- Oversee digital information management and dissemination.
- Digitalise the Ministry of Mines’ operating systems.
